The Emerging Artist Spectacular will be held on March 27 at 6:00pm at the American Lithuanian Club, 4880 46^th Ave. N., St. Petersburg.  The program will be comprised of arias that several SPO Emerging Artists have recently coached with Maestro Mark Sforzini in a series of four workshops. Selections will include, amongst others, a variety of Mozart arias: "Non so piu cosa son" from The Marriage of Figaro, "Un’aura amorosa"  and "Una donna quindici anni" from Così fan tutte, "Deh vieni alla finestra” from Don Giovanni, “All Thinking’s Done and All Plans Laid” from Copland’s The Tender Land, “Cruda sorte! Amor tiranno!” from Rossini’s L’italiana in Algieri and "Glitter and Be Gay"  from Candide by Leonard Bernstein. Mark Sforzini will also perform the arioso second movement of Mozart’s Bassoon Concerto.  Pianist Brent Douglas will accompany all selections.
