Reviews & Press

"Whatever Into the Woods is, opera or musical theater, the production by St. Petersburg Opera is a landmark for the Tampa Bay area, whose theater companies and musical organizations have been strangely timid, to put it kindly, about taking on the work of the greatest living American musical theater composer. I've been covering the performing arts for the St. Petersburg Times since 1991, and this is the first top-level local production of Sondheim I've seen here."
